Six members of the University of Central Missouri Jennies Soccer team have been selected for the 2025 All-MIAA Women’s Soccer Teams, as announced by the conference office on November 7 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Junior forward Mikayla Ernst and sophomore defender Mackenzie Smith were named to the First Team. Ernst, from Raymore, Missouri, earned her first All-MIAA honor after leading both her team and the MIAA in goals scored with 12 and total points with 29 over 18 regular season matches. She also led the team with five game-winning goals.

Smith, a Kansas City native, received her second career All-MIAA accolade. She played a key role in UCM's defense that recorded 11 shutouts in 18 games and was second on the team for minutes played (1,499), scoring one goal during the season.

Junior midfielder Aspen Patterson was named to the Second Team after scoring two goals and providing four assists across 18 matches. The Lenexa, Kansas native has now earned her second career All-MIAA recognition.

Sophomore midfielder Kate Ricker received Third Team honors for her first time. The Shawnee, Kansas native participated in all regular-season games and registered three assists.

Goalkeeper Kristen Wright and freshman defender Hazel Douglas-Trotman were awarded Honorable Mention status. Wright achieved this recognition for a third time after finishing with a record of 10-4-4 along with eight shutouts in 18 matches. She made 61 saves while allowing only nine goals from 157 shots faced—resulting in a goals-against average of 0.52—and held a save percentage of .871 over more than 1,550 minutes played.

Douglas-Trotman contributed to UCM’s defensive efforts leading to their shutout record and scored two goals herself—including a game-winner at Newman on October 19—for four points this season.

Central Missouri is seeded third for the upcoming MIAA Women's Soccer Championship tournament and will play sixth-seeded Central Oklahoma on Sunday, November 9 at the South Recreation Complex in Warrensburg at 1 p.m.
