Central Missouri men's golf wins Tulsa Cup to close fall season

Central Missouri's men's golf team, ranked No. 14 nationally, ended its fall season with a victory at the Tulsa Cup, held at Indian Springs Country Club in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The team finished with a total score of 12-under par 852 across three rounds (279, 278, 295).

Harding University took second place at 10-under par 854, while Pittsburg State came in third at 2-under par 862.

Individually, CJ Phillips, who is ranked No. 15, tied for first place after shooting an overall score of 8-under par 208 (71, 67, 70). He recorded a final round score of two under par.

Other notable performances for Central Missouri included Nick Fallin and Kale Flinton tying for eleventh place at one under par (215 each). Fallin's scores were 68, 70, and 77; Flinton posted rounds of 68, 72, and 75. Lawson Barks tied for fifteenth at even-par (216) with rounds of 73, 69, and 74. Archer Schnieders tied for thirty-first with a four-over total of (220), carding rounds of 72 each in the first two rounds and a final round of 76.

The Mules will resume competition March next year when they participate in the Las Vegas Desert Classic in Boulder City, Nevada.
