The University of Central Missouri Jennies Soccer team has been ranked fourth in the latest NCAA Division II Central Regional Rankings, released on Wednesday, November 5. Minnesota State leads the rankings, with Washburn and Pittsburg State taking second and third place respectively.
Central Missouri holds the fourth spot, followed by Bemidji State in fifth, St. Cloud State sixth, Missouri Western seventh, Concordia-St. Paul eighth, Augustana (South Dakota) ninth, and Northwest Missouri State rounding out the top ten.
According to the NCAA guidelines, only the top eight teams in the final regional rankings—set to be released on Monday, November 17—will qualify for the NCAA Division II women's soccer tournament.
The Jennies are scheduled to compete in the MIAA Women's Soccer Championship quarterfinals on Sunday, November 9. Their opponent and game details will be announced at a later date.
Minnesota State currently holds an undefeated record of 15-0-2 both overall and within their region. Central Missouri’s record stands at 10-4-4 for both categories.
