The University of Central Missouri Jennies Bowling team maintained their undefeated record at the Virginia Union University Invitational, securing the top seed after Saturday’s competition in Midlothian, Virginia. The team posted a 4-0 record on the second day of play at Bowl America, finishing pool play with a 9-0 overall mark.

Central Missouri recorded victories against Virginia Union (896-487), Howard University (802-749), Fayetteville State (804-763), and Virginia State (910-586). The team also registered an unopposed score of 810 during one round.

Julia Speich led the Jennies for the second consecutive weekend, averaging 179.4 and earning a place on the All-Tournament Team. Camryn Cramer was the next highest scorer for Central Missouri, with a 177.5 average over four games.

The Jennies are set to compete in Sunday’s Baker Bracket rounds as the No. 1 overall seed, concluding their participation in the VUU Invitational.
