Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) and Johnson County Community Health Services are inviting residents of Johnson County to a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) Town Hall. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6, from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the MKi Pavilion in Warrensburg.
This public gathering aims to present key findings from the 2025 CHNA and encourage discussion on the county's significant health needs. The event welcomes community members, healthcare providers, and local organizations to share insights and collaborate on strategies to improve healthcare services in Johnson County. Attendees will also have access to a complimentary taco bar during the town hall.
The feedback collected will assist the CHNA committee in developing a three-year strategic plan focused on addressing local health priorities.
The Community Health Needs Assessment is an online survey designed to evaluate community health challenges and local healthcare services. Conducted every three years by nonprofit hospitals as part of tax exemption requirements, WMMC and JCCHS completed their latest assessment in March 2025.
Those interested in attending are encouraged to RSVP at wmmc.com/TownHall before the event date.
