CJ Phillips, Player | Central Missouri Mules Golf
CJ Phillips, a junior golfer at the University of Central Missouri, has been named the MIAA Men's Golfer of the Week. The announcement was made by the conference office on Wednesday, October 29.
Phillips earned this recognition for his performance during the week of October 22-28. He finished second at The Tulsa Cup, held October 27-28 at The Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Phillips posted a three-round total score of 8-under par 208 (71-67-70). He tied with Harding's Jose Arzu for the top spot on the individual leaderboard but lost to Arzu in a playoff.
Throughout the fall 2025 season, Phillips has recorded three runner-up finishes and secured one tournament victory. He won the MoWest Holiday Inn Express Classic earlier in October in St. Joseph, Missouri.
The Mules golf team, ranked No. 14 nationally, concluded their fall season by winning The Tulsa Cup.
