Central Missouri Jennies golf finishes third at Tulsa Cup

Central Missouri's women's golf team, ranked No. 23 nationally, finished third at the Tulsa Cup held at Forest Ridge Golf Club in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The tournament concluded on Tuesday, October 28.

The Jennies recorded a team score of 32-over-par 896 over three rounds (304, 291, 301). Arkansas Tech, ranked No. 36, secured first place with a score of 19-over-par 883 (294, 290, 299), while Rogers State, ranked No. 31, finished second at 28-over-par 892 (297, 286, 309).

Individually for Central Missouri, Mia Rallo tied for fifth place with a total of four-over-par 220 (76, 71, 73). Libby Green improved her standing by climbing eleven spots to tie for seventh at five-over-par 221 (74, 76, 71). Freshman Ansley Giesselmann tied for twentieth with a thirteen-over-par total of 229 (76, 73, 80), and senior Kiki Bruner tied for twenty-fifth at fourteen-over-par with rounds of eighty, seventy-one and seventy-nine. Another freshman competitor from Central Missouri was Hannah Mottert who tied for thirty-first at sixteen-over-par.

Madolyn Kost competed as an individual and placed third overall with a two-over-par score of 218 (73,69,76).

The event marked the end of the fall season for the Jennies. The team is scheduled to return to competition February sixteenth and seventeenth at the Southern Invitational in Spring, Texas.
