Central Missouri Jennies Bowling ranked fifth in GLVC preseason poll for 2025-26 season

The University of Central Missouri Jennies Bowling team has been ranked fifth in the 2025-26 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) Women's Bowling Preseason Coaches' Poll, according to an announcement from the league office on Thursday, October 16.

The poll, which is determined by votes from GLVC head coaches, awarded Central Missouri 27 points. The Jennies are preparing for the new season under head coach Ron Holmes. The team aims to build on last year's results with a roster that includes both returning athletes and new additions.

Maryville University was chosen as the preseason favorite to win the conference, receiving 49 points and seven first-place votes. McKendree University was selected second with 42 points and one first-place vote. Oklahoma Christian and Newman University were placed third and fourth, earning 38 and 29 points respectively, ahead of Central Missouri.

1. Maryville – 49 (7)

2. McKendree – 42 (1)

3. Oklahoma Christian – 38

4. Newman – 29

5. Central Missouri – 27

6. Lewis – 19

7. Indianapolis – 13

8. Quincy – 7

The Jennies are scheduled to continue their season at the Jayhawk Collegiate Classic in Topeka, Kansas, hosted by Baker University on October 25-26.
