Jennies cross country places fourteenth at Gans Creek Invitational

Kayli Cameron, Sophomore | Central Missouri Jennies Cross Country

The University of Central Missouri Jennies Cross Country team participated in the Gans Creek Invitational on Friday, September 26, at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Missouri. The event was hosted by the University of Missouri-Columbia.

The Jennies placed 14th out of 24 teams in the women's 6k race, earning a total of 450 points. Freshman Marianna Bizon led the team with a 16th place finish and a time of 22:34.7. Madison Cross, also a freshman, completed the course in 25:14.7 and finished in 131st place.

Other contributors included Kenzleigh Goans from California, Missouri, who finished with a time of 25:37.1 for 143rd place. Daniella Gonzalez secured the 184th spot with a time of 27:01.3, while Kayli Cameron rounded out scoring for Central Missouri by finishing in 194th place at 27:50.7.

Central Missouri Cross Country will compete again on Saturday, October 11, at the Brian T. Simpson Invitational at Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia.
