The Bothwell Foundation’s Community Relations committee will hold its fourth “What Your Mama Never Told You” event for women on October 16 at The Venue in Sedalia. The event, which is free to attend, offers an opportunity for women to learn about and discuss health topics relevant to them.
Panelists for the evening include Dr. Stephanie Schirding, a family medicine physician at Bothwell Cole Camp Clinic; Nurse Midwife Cassie Caedo from Bothwell OB/GYN Associates; Kali Luchessi, owner of Healthy Habits; and Angie Howard, owner of Chill Cryotherapy & Wellness. These professionals will share their expertise and answer questions about women’s health issues across different stages of life.
Diana Nichols, chair of the Community Relations committee, said the group is eager to host the event again in Sedalia. “With new presenters and new areas of focus, we are excited to provide another opportunity for women to gain information and ask questions about their health and well-being,” she said. “It’s important that we continue having conversations and connections with each other and bring our common concerns to light.”
Seating is limited. Those interested in attending should register by October 10 using the online survey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2025WYMNTY. The registration link also allows participants to submit questions or topics confidentially ahead of time so presenters can prepare.
