Central Missouri Jennies Bowling has announced the addition of 10 freshmen to its roster for the 2025-26 season. The new recruits come from Missouri, Kansas, Louisiana, Illinois, and Nebraska, and include several high school all-state selections and individual champions.
Head coach Ron Holmes expressed optimism about the incoming class. "We are incredibly excited to have the 2025-26 team finally on campus to see what they can do together," Holmes said. "What a fun and energetic squad of ladies to have the opportunity to work and grow with! First and foremost, we want to say thanks to all the ladies and their families for selecting Central Missouri to continue their paths as student-athletes. The world of college athletics has evolved a great deal in a very short time period, including in the sport of women's bowling. Last season, we made great strides by earning our way back to the postseason and experiencing a national championship setting again. As we continue to compete in one NCAA division and a super demanding conference, we are reloading our team with players we believe will be outstanding representatives of UCM Athletics on and off the lanes."
Holmes noted that many of the newcomers bring high-level experience from high school competitions. "There are multiple players with high-level experiences and high school individual and team state titles. Although there will be an adjustment period from high school to college, several of these ladies will step into roles to help our team immediately and provide us with depth and strategy options our team has not had," Holmes added. "We look forward to seeing how the ladies work and grow together and are excited to let UCM see and learn more about them with our expanded 2025-26 home schedule."
The list of newcomers includes:
Alex Beals from Gladstone, Mo., who helped her Oak Park High School team finish eighth at the 2025 Missouri High School Championships. She won tournament titles at both the 2024 Midwest Youth Bowling Classic and 2019 KC Open.
Meghan Fowlie from O'Fallon, Mo., competed for Incarnate Word Academy’s Red Knights, helping her team place fifth in 2023 and seventh in 2025 at state tournaments.
Bailey Kinkelaar from Olathe, Kan., led Blue Valley Northwest High School’s Huskies to consecutive state appearances including a second-place finish at the Kansas 6A State Bowling Championships in 2025.
Sydney Lee from Prairieville, La., anchored Dutchtown High School’s Lady Griffins for two consecutive Louisiana 5A High School Championship titles (2023, 2024) while also winning multiple individual honors.
Maddie Ley from Round Lake Beach, Ill., was a three-year varsity starter at Greylake North High School where she helped her team secure top finishes in regional competitions.
Carie Mascarello from Bellevue West High School in Nebraska contributed to her team's third-place finish at the Nebraska High School Girls Class-A Championships in 2025.
Natalie Moss from Lenexa, Kan., led Shawnee Mission West High School’s Lady Vikings through three state championship appearances over four seasons.
Giana Nichols from Lee's Summit West High School participated in four Missouri state championships during her prep career.
