The University of Central Missouri Jennies golf team began its 2025-26 season with a win at the Central Region Fall Preview, held at Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs, Missouri. The team finished with a combined score of 10-over par 586 over 36 holes, recording rounds of 292 and 294.
Central Missouri outperformed conference opponents Nebraska Kearney, which finished second with a score of 24-over par 600, and Missouri Western, which took third place at 26-over par 602.
Senior Mia Rallo was the team's top individual performer. She placed second overall after shooting an even-par 72 in her final round and ending the tournament at three-under par 141 (69-72). Henderson State's Lily Nelson won the individual title with a two-round total of four-under par 140.
Freshman Ansley Giesselmann tied for ninth place after carding a four-over par total of 148 (77-71). Sophomore Madolyn Kost (75-75) and senior Kiki Bruner (74-76) both finished tied for sixteenth at six-over par 150. Senior Libby Green rounded out the scoring for Central Missouri by tying for twenty-second with an eight-over par total of 152 (74-78).
The Jennies will continue their season later this month when they travel to Corinth, Texas, to compete in the Dallas Baptist Classic on September 22-23 at Oakmont Country Club.
