The University of Central Missouri's Mules Track & Field program has announced the addition of 42 new student-athletes for its 2025 recruiting class. Head coach Kevin Paterson said, "This group has the potential to make an immediate impact in the MIAA and at the national level. They're not only gifted athletes, but also hard-working students who will represent UCM with pride."
The incoming class includes athletes from various locations including Canada, Nigeria, Jamaica, and several states across the U.S., contributing to a broad range of events such as sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, distance races, and multi-events. Coach Paterson added that these student-athletes bring speed, strength, and versatility to nearly every event.
The team is scheduled to start its 2025-26 season at the Washburn Alumni Invitational on December 6 in Topeka, Kansas.
Coach Paterson emphasized the significance of this new group: "They're not only gifted athletes, but also hard-working students who will represent UCM with pride." He further stated that the new recruits are prepared to continue the program’s tradition of excellence.
