University of Central Missouri Mules Baseball has been recognized with the American Baseball Coaches' Association (ABCA) Team Academic Excellence Award for their academic performance during the 2024-25 academic year. The announcement was made by the organization on Wednesday, July 23.

Central Missouri was one of four Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association (MIAA) baseball programs to receive this award. Fort Hays State, Rogers State, and Washburn were also honored with the Team Academic Excellence Award.

The ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award is presented annually to high school and college teams that achieve a GPA over 3.0 on a 4.0 scale for the academic year. This year, a total of 300 high school programs and 440 collegiate programs received recognition.

The Mules finished their season with an overall record of 48-14, winning both the MIAA Regular Season and NCAA Division II Central Region Championships in 2025. They advanced to the Championship Series of the NCAA-II College World Series and ended as the National Runner-Up for 2025.
