Angela Ramirez, a certified nurse-midwife | Western Missouri Medical Center
Angela Ramirez, a certified nurse-midwife with extensive experience in women's health, has joined the Western Missouri Women's Health Center and birthing team at Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) in Warrensburg, MO.
Ramirez completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the University of Kansas in 2020 and recently earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Nurse-Midwifery from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2025. With 14 years of nursing experience, including eight years focused on labor and delivery, she brings a wealth of knowledge to her new role. Her career as a travel nurse across Kansas and Missouri has instilled a strong appreciation for rural healthcare.
Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board, Ramirez is committed to patient advocacy and individualized care. She believes every woman deserves respect throughout their care experience and aims to be both a clinical provider and supportive presence during significant moments.
Outside work, Ramirez enjoys family time and reading mystery thriller novels.
