University of Central Missouri's Vance Tobol has been recognized as a 2025 College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American. The announcement was made on July 1, highlighting his academic and athletic performance during the season.

Tobol, who is a redshirt senior outfielder from Rogers, Arkansas, achieved this accolade for the second year in a row. He maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA while pursuing his master's degree in sport management. Previously, he completed his bachelor's degree in the same field with a GPA of 3.59 in 2024.

On the baseball field, Tobol was named to the Second Team ABCA/Rawlings Division II and received an Honorable Mention NCBWA All-American recognition this season. His statistics include a .365 batting average, along with leading his team in several categories such as doubles (19), homers (22), RBI (76), slugging percentage (.722), and stolen bases (28) over 61 games.

The NCAA Division II national governance structure supports the Division II Academic All-America program financially to help College Sports Communicators manage awards fulfillment for the 2024-25 period.
