Bothwell Regional Health Center is set to host a public event in celebration of National Hospital Week. Scheduled for Friday, May 16, the event will take place from 4 to 8 pm at Bothwell Hospital.
Themed "Hospital Week: Under the Big Top," the circus-inspired gathering offers various free activities for attendees. These include a petting zoo, cake walk, face painting, balloon artistry, and games with prizes. Music will be provided by a disc jockey. Several local food trucks will also be present, offering food and refreshments available for purchase.
National Hospital Week acknowledges the contributions of over 6,000 hospitals nationwide. Bothwell Regional Health Center operates a comprehensive network of primary and specialty care practices across Sedalia, Cole Camp, Lincoln, and Warsaw. The center handles more than 284,000 patient visits annually and employs nearly 900 individuals.
Located in Sedalia as its largest employer and Pettis County's second-largest employer overall, Bothwell provides diagnostic, medical, and surgical services anchored by its hospital and emergency department in Sedalia.
The event will take place at the parking lot and grassy area east of the Education Center at 600 E. 14th Street. Reservations are not necessary for attendance.
