Bothwell Regional Health Center is launching a grief support group led by Chaplain Rob Ayers, a certified grief recovery specialist. The initiative aims to assist individuals in navigating loss within a community setting.

The upcoming eight-week session is scheduled to begin on May 20, with meetings every Tuesday from 6:30 to 9 pm at Bothwell Hospital.

Understanding that grief is a personal and sometimes overwhelming journey, this group welcomes anyone experiencing loss. Whether it is the death of a loved one, shifts in career or relationships, or dealing with faith or health issues, the group offers guided discussions and shared experiences to help participants cope.

"Everyone deserves the opportunity to heal in a safe and understanding environment," Ayers stated. "This group provides a place where people can share, listen, and find support from others who truly understand the grieving process."

Interested individuals can contact Chaplain Rob Ayers at cayers@brhc.org or 660.287.1090 for more information or to join. Additional sessions are planned from July 22 to September 9 and from September 23 to November 11.
