Western Missouri Medical Center (WMMC) has announced the expansion of its non-surgical orthopedic services to Higginsville. Dr. Jeremy Schmitz, a board-certified family practice physician with fellowship training in sports medicine, will offer his expertise at the Family Practice of Central Missouri – Higginsville clinic on Thursdays from 1-4 p.m.

Dr. Schmitz joined Western Missouri Bone & Joint on June 3, 2024. He specializes in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal injuries and chronic conditions such as osteoporosis, chronic tendon injuries, joint pain, and concussions. His skills in diagnostic ultrasound and non-surgical orthopedic care expand the services available to patients in Higginsville and nearby areas.
