Bothwell Regional Health Center is initiating a grief support group, led by Chaplain Rob Ayers, a certified grief recovery specialist. The program aims to assist individuals in managing loss within a supportive community.

The upcoming eight-week session starts on March 18 and will be held every Tuesday from 6:30 to 9 pm at Bothwell Hospital.

Grief can be an overwhelming personal journey that many find challenging to handle alone. This group welcomes anyone experiencing loss, whether due to the death of a loved one, career or relationship changes, faith struggles, or health issues. Participants will engage in guided discussions and share experiences to develop coping strategies.

“Everyone deserves the opportunity to heal in a safe and understanding environment,” Ayers stated. “This group provides a place where people can share, listen and find support from others who truly understand the grieving process.”

For further details or to join the group, contact Chaplain Rob Ayers at cayers@brhc.org or 660.287.1090. Additional sessions are scheduled for May 20 – July 8, July 22 – Sept. 9, and Sept. 23 – Nov. 11.
