St. Clair County had unemployment rate of 3.2% in 2021

St. Clair County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.2% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 122 people out of the 9,235 living in St. Clair County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in St. Clair County has decreased compared to the 3.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in St. Clair County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.5%.
