How many people were old enough to vote in Johnson County during 2021?

Of the 53,889 citizens living in Johnson County in 2021, 78.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 42,238 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 21,745 were male, constituting 51.5%, and 20,493 were female, making up 48.5%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Johnson County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.3%.
