Cost of college went up for all students at Saline County Career Center

Tuition and fees rose 1.8 percent for 2018-19 at Saline County Career Center, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Missouri students paid $11,470 to attend the public school this year – $200 more than the $11,270 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 9 students received grants or scholarships totaling $54,199 and 8 students took out student loans totaling more than $50,779.

Including all undergraduates (23), 23 students used grants or scholarships totaling $177,840, and 22 students took out $163,029 in federal student loans.
