59 percent of applicants to Missouri Valley College were admitted for fall 2018

At Missouri Valley College, 94 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 54 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Marshall enrolled 1,867 students in fall 2018, including 1,848 in undergraduate and 19 in graduate programs, data shows. 8.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

41 percent of undergraduates are residents of Missouri, and 41 percent are residents of other states. 19 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (53 percent) and Black or African American (14 percent).

The school admitted 59 percent of the 2,516 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 35 percent enrolled.
