North Liberty home prices fall in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in North Liberty fell by $1,800 while total sales decreased by 13.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 222 homes sold, with a median sale price of $188,200 - a 0.9% decrease over the $190,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 257 homes sold in North Liberty in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in North Liberty for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,066, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2017.
