North Liberty home prices fall in the first quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2017 in North Liberty fell by $2,500 while total sales decreased by 11.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2017, there were 72 homes sold, with a median sale price of $182,500 - a 1.4% decrease over the $185,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 81 homes sold in North Liberty in the first quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in North Liberty for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,066, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2017.
