North Liberty home prices fall in the second quarter of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2017 in North Liberty fell by $11,500 while total sales decreased by 8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2017, there were 185 homes sold, with a median sale price of $198,500 - a 5.5% decrease over the $210,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 201 homes sold in North Liberty in the second quarter of 2016.

The median sales tax in North Liberty for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,066, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2017.
