North Liberty home prices rise in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in North Liberty rose by $13,000 while total sales decreased by 30.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 128 homes sold, with a median sale price of $211,500 - a 6.5% increase over the $198,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 185 homes sold in North Liberty in the second quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in North Liberty for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,066, approximately 1.4% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2018.
