Central Missouri men’s golf places fifth at Missouri Southern Fall Invitational

The Central Missouri men's golf team finished in fifth place at the Missouri Southern Fall Invitational, held at Shangri-La Resort in Monkey Island, Oklahoma. The tournament concluded on Tuesday, October 21.

Central Missouri posted a total score of 895 over three rounds, finishing 31-over par with round scores of 307, 296, and 292. Central Oklahoma secured first place with a team score of 854 (10-under par), followed by Washburn in second at 887 (23-over) and Missouri Western in third with an 885 (27-over).

Nick Fallin was the top performer for Central Missouri, tying for 18th after shooting a combined score of 223 (73, 73, 77), which put him at seven over par. CJ Phillips and Kale Flinton both tied for 21st place with scores of 224 (eight over par). Phillips had rounds of 78, 75, and 71; Flinton recorded rounds of 78, 73, and 73. Lawson Barks tied for 24th at nine over par with a total score of 225 after shooting rounds of 78, 76, and 71. Jack Hope finished tied for 78th with a total score of 236 (81, 75, and 80).

Competing as an individual participant, Archer Schnieders tied for seventh place after carding a three-over-par total of 219 (77, 69, and 73).

Central Missouri is set to conclude its fall schedule at the Tulsa Cup on October 27–28 at The Club at Indian Springs in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
