Central Missouri Jennies bowling ranked sixth in NTCA DII-III preseason poll

Central Missouri Jennies bowling has been ranked No. 6 in the National Ten Pin Coaches' Association (NTCA) Division II-III Preseason Poll, which was released on October 1 at noon.

The Jennies received 198 points in the poll, placing them sixth among other Division II and III programs. Last season, Central Missouri finished eighth in the NTCA ranking.

Maryville University leads the preseason poll with 1136 points. The University of Wisconsin Whitewater is ranked second with 775 points, while McKendree University holds third place with 636 points. Other teams in the top five include Felician University and Oklahoma Christian University.

Central Missouri will open its season against Central Methodist on Saturday, October 4, at Union Bowling Center in Warrensburg, Missouri.

The NTCA DII-III Preseason Poll provides an early look at national expectations for collegiate women's bowling programs as they prepare for the upcoming season.

"Jennies Bowling ranked No. 6 in the NTCA DII-III Preseason Poll," according to the release from Central Missouri athletics.
