University of Central Missouri Jennies Soccer forward Mikayla Ernst has been named the MIAA Women's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week, according to an announcement made on Tuesday, September 23.

Ernst, a junior from Raymore, Missouri, achieved a notable milestone by becoming only the third player in program history to score four goals in a single match. This occurred during Central Missouri's 7-2 victory over Harding on Sunday, September 21. She also contributed two goals in the team's 5-0 win against Ouachita Baptist on Friday, September 19. Over these two matches, Ernst recorded six goals and one assist, totaling 13 points.

With her recent performances, Ernst now leads NCAA Division II in both goals (8) and points (18) through six matches in the 2025 season.

The Jennies are set to begin MIAA conference play with away games at Northeastern State on Friday, September 26, and Rogers State on Sunday, September 28.
