Central Missouri Mules Golf is in second place after the first day of The Mule tournament at Mules National Golf Club in Warrensburg. The event began on Monday, September 8.

The A Team for Central Missouri, consisting of Kale Flinton, Archer Schnieders, Brooks Baldwin, Nick Fallin, and CJ Phillips, finished the day with a team score of 5-under par 555 (280-275). This result places them just behind the leader, No. 11 Central Oklahoma, which recorded a score of 16-under par 537 (274-263) through two rounds.

The B Team from Central Missouri—composed of Lawson Barks, Henry Manning, Jack Hope, Garrett McIntosh, and Andrew Whittaker—is currently in 17th place with a score of 40-over par 600 (303-297).

Freshman Kale Flinton led the way for UCM individually by shooting a 4-under par 136 (68-68), tying him for second place. Archer Schneiders and CJ Phillips are both tied for sixth at 2-under par 138; Schneiders shot rounds of 69-69 while Phillips posted scores of 74-64.

Brooks Baldwin and Nick Fallin each ended the day at 6-over par 146 to tie for 33rd place. Henry Manning finished at 9-over par 149 to be among four players tied for the top-50 positions. Jack Hope is tied at 56th with a total score of 10-over par 150. Garrett McIntosh and Lawson Barks are both tied at 73rd after finishing with scores of 12-over par 152. Andrew Whittaker stands in 91st place with a score of 17-over par (157).

Nathan Womack competed as an individual and is tied for the No.93 spot after scoring an18-over par158 (82-76).

The final round will take place on Tuesday, September9 starting at9a.m.
