Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare has announced Amy Taylor as the Employee of the Month for May. Taylor, who joined the organization in 2022, works as an Environmental Services Aide.
Taylor's responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in patient care areas. Her commitment to quality, safety, infection prevention, and enhancing the overall patient experience has been noted by her peers and supervisors.
The nomination for this recognition was based on her adherence to the Golden Standard of Care. She is recognized for consistently delivering efficient service with kindness and professionalism. Notably, she ensures that supplies are stocked for incoming shifts and once provided her own scrubs to a new coworker to ensure they had the proper uniform.
As part of this recognition, Taylor received a special gift from GVMH and will have her name displayed on a commemorative plaque at the main campus. Additionally, she is now one of 12 finalists for the 2025-2026 Employee of the Year award.
