Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has introduced a free pregnancy app called YoMingo for expectant parents. The app provides a range of tools, resources, and support throughout the pregnancy journey, helping parents with prenatal care, labor, postpartum health, infant feeding, and newborn care.
"We are committed to ensuring that our patients have access to the best resources for their pregnancy and postpartum care," stated Hayli Wade, the Birthing Center Director at GVMH. "By offering YoMingo, we are providing expectant parents with a convenient, reliable, and easy-to-use platform that supports them from pregnancy through the early days of parenthood."
YoMingo includes educational content through videos and animations, and also offers tools like contraction and baby kick trackers. It allows parents to log baby measurements and feedings post-birth. The app personalizes the pregnancy experience, allowing users to track milestones according to their due date. It also provides specific information related to care at GVMH’s Family Birth Center.
The app is available free of charge to GVMH patients, who can sign up at the provided link.
