Henry County had unemployment rate of 5.7% in 2021

Henry County recorded an unemployment rate of 5.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 568 people out of the 21,884 living in Henry County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Henry County has increased compared to the 5.5% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Henry County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 4.5%.

Of the 9,393 people who had a job during that time, 79 were employed in the Armed Forces and 9,314 belonged to the civilian labor force.
