Iowa City home prices rise in the second quarter of 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2020 in Iowa City rose by $7,000 while total sales decreased by 13.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2020, there were 383 homes sold, with a median sale price of $235,000 - a 3.1% increase over the $228,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 444 homes sold in Iowa City in the second quarter of 2019.
