Iowa City home prices rise in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Iowa City rose by $10,500 while total sales decreased by 27.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 29 homes sold, with a median sale price of $403,000 - a 2.7% increase over the $392,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 40 homes sold in Iowa City in the first half of 2017.
