North Liberty home prices rise in the second half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2018 in North Liberty rose by $10,700 while total sales decreased by 5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2018, there were 211 homes sold, with a median sale price of $198,900 - a 5.7% increase over the $188,200 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 222 homes sold in North Liberty in the second half of 2017.

The median sales tax in North Liberty for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,066, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2018.
