Iowa City home prices fall in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Iowa City fell by $43,450 while total sales decreased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $342,000 - a 11.3% decrease over the $385,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 14 homes sold in Iowa City in the first quarter of 2017.
