Hills home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Hills rose by $44,800 while total sales increased by 150%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were five homes sold, with a median sale price of $175,500 - a 34.3% increase over the $130,700 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were two homes sold in Hills in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Hills for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $2,194, approximately 1.3% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
