Iowa City home prices fall in the second quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2018 in Iowa City fell by $54,950 while total sales decreased by 30.8%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2018, there were 18 homes sold, with a median sale price of $412,500 - a 11.8% decrease over the $467,450 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 26 homes sold in Iowa City in the second quarter of 2017.
