Iowa City home prices rise in the third quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2018 in Iowa City rose by $10,750 while total sales decreased by 42.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2018, there were 16 homes sold, with a median sale price of $360,000 - a 3.1% increase over the $349,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 28 homes sold in Iowa City in the third quarter of 2017.
