North Liberty home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in North Liberty rose by $19,050 while total sales decreased by 12.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 79 homes sold, with a median sale price of $200,000 - a 10.5% increase over the $180,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 90 homes sold in North Liberty in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in North Liberty for the most recent year with available data, 2016, was $3,066, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
