The Central Missouri Mules Golf team is in fifth place after the first day of the Missouri Southern Fall Invite at Shangri-La Resort in Monkey Island, Oklahoma. After two rounds on Monday, Oct. 20, the team recorded a total score of 603, which is 27-over par for 36 holes.

Central Oklahoma is leading the tournament at 5-under par. Winona State and Missouri Western are tied for second place at 24-over par. Play was suspended due to darkness before all teams could finish their second round.

Nick Fallin led Central Missouri with a score of 146 (2-over par), tying him for fifth place individually. Freshman Kale Flinton is tied for 23rd at 151 (7-over par). CJ Phillips is tied for 35th with a score of 153 (9-over par). Lawson Barks posted a score of 154 (10-over par), tying him for 43rd, while Jack Hope is tied for 50th at 156 (12-over par).

Archer Schnieders, who competed as an individual, also finished with a score of 146 (2-over par) and shares fifth place.

The tournament will resume and conclude on Tuesday, Oct. 21, when the remaining holes from round two are completed followed by the final round.
