The University of Central Missouri Mules Football team will open its 2025 home season against Colorado State Pueblo, ranked No. 13, on Thursday, September 11 at Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field in Warrensburg. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m.

Several events are planned for the home opener. "Get The Red Out" is a street fair that will take place on Holden Street east of Walton Stadium from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., featuring food, music, local vendors, games and activities for children, as well as appearances by the Mules and Jennies basketball teams, Mo the Mule mascot, Mulekickers dance team, and UCM cheerleaders. A fireworks show will follow the game.

First Responders' Night will honor local first responders and remember those who died on September 11, 2001. The university will also recognize Jakason Burks of Mules Wrestling for his national championship last season and the Mules baseball team for finishing as national runner-up earlier this year.

The Mule Fan Zone presented by GoZark returns this season with live music, inflatables for kids, community tables, yard games and more. For the September 11 opener, it will be located near Get The Red Out on Holden Street.

Alcohol sales have been expanded to include beer, wine and seltzer in 16-ounce portions at multiple concession locations within the stadium. Fans must be at least 21 years old to purchase alcohol and are limited to two drinks per transaction. Alcohol sales start one hour before kickoff and end after the third quarter.

Members of the Cardinal & Black Fund at certain giving levels receive access to complimentary food and drink at a tent near Walton Stadium starting two hours before kickoff. Parking lots S41 and S42 are reserved for higher-level fund members who have received parking passes.

A clear bag policy remains in effect for all home football games to improve safety and reduce wait times entering Walton Stadium/Kennedy Field. Only clear bags up to specified sizes or small clutches are allowed; some exceptions apply for medical needs or infant care items.

Promotional themes throughout the season include Family Weekend and Cancer Awareness Day (September 27), Military Appreciation Day (October 11), Homecoming (October 25), Senior Day/Youth Day/Black Out Game (November 8).

Concessions operated by Sodexo now feature upgraded AI self-checkout stations intended to speed up service times.

The Yuengling Flight Deck above the north endzone offers exclusive access for select Cardinal & Black Fund members or invited groups.

The Mule Walk tradition continues with fans encouraged to support players as they enter Walton Stadium prior to each home game; timing varies depending on opponent.

There is a no re-entry policy in place—fans who leave during an event must purchase another ticket if they wish to return.

Active duty military personnel and their immediate families can attend regular season events free through the Command Pass program supported by local sponsors W-K, Phantom V, and Fox Heating & Cooling. This pass now extends to UCM arts events such as concerts or plays.

Tickets purchased ahead of gameday offer savings compared with day-of-game prices; information is available at ucmathletics.com/tickets or by calling the Athletics Center ticket office.

Mo's Maniacs youth club has been updated with new membership options providing perks like discounted tickets and special experiences for young fans.

General tailgating is permitted only in designated lots; other parking areas are restricted based on membership status or do not allow tailgating activities. Questions about parking can be directed to Macie Wallace in UCM Athletics’ development office.

All Mules football games will stream live online via pay-per-view on The MIAA Network (https://themiaanetwork.com/ucmmules). Two games—including this week’s opener—will also air locally on television station "38 The Spot" in Kansas City metro area.

Radio broadcasts of every game will be available on KOKO AM/FM stations as well as "Your Country" 98.5 FM The BAR FM and online through WarrensburgRadio.com. Greg Hassler provides play-by-play commentary alongside former head coach Jim Svoboda with Joe Moore reporting from sidelines.

Group ticketing inquiries should be directed to Dalton Reynolds at UCM Athletics Ticket Office.
