Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare has announced Ashley Rumfelt as its Employee of the Month for July. Rumfelt, who joined the organization in 2017, has served in several roles including Hospital Lab Section Supervisor and Clinic Lab Supervisor. In 2020, she transitioned to the role of Clinical Systems Analyst within the Information Technology department while maintaining her duties as a Registered Medical Technologist in the Hospital Lab.
Her extensive knowledge of the Lab module in Meditech is noted as a significant asset to various departments within Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare. Rumfelt was nominated multiple times for Employee of the Month due to her ability to manage substantial workloads and contribute to initiatives like new instrumentation, Meditech upgrades, and auto-verification processes across hospital and clinic laboratories.
Rumfelt's work ethic, attention to detail, and team support have been highlighted as distinguishing factors. Her commitment is evident in her approach to tasks and her patience and clarity when answering questions.
As recognition for her achievements, Rumfelt received a special gift from GVMH and will have her name displayed on a commemorative plaque at the main campus. She is also eligible for consideration as one of 12 finalists for the 2025-2026 Employee of the Year award.
