Bothwell Regional Health Center is set to launch a grief support group, led by Chaplain Rob Ayers, a certified grief recovery specialist. The initiative aims to assist individuals in navigating loss within a supportive community setting.

The upcoming eight-week session will commence on July 22 and will be held every Tuesday from 6:30 to 9 pm at Bothwell Hospital.

Grief can be an overwhelming personal journey, often challenging to manage alone. This group welcomes anyone experiencing various forms of loss, such as the death of a loved one, career or relationship changes, faith struggles, or health concerns. Through guided discussions and shared experiences, participants are expected to acquire tools for coping and moving forward.

"Everyone deserves the opportunity to heal in a safe and understanding environment," said Ayers. "This group provides a place where people can share, listen and find support from others who truly understand the grieving process."

For those interested in joining or seeking more information, contact Chaplain Rob Ayers at cayers@brhc.org or call 660.287.1090. Another session is scheduled from September 23 to November 11.
