Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has announced Lucinda Park as the Employee of the Month for June. Park has been part of the GVMH team since 2005, working as a Registered Nurse in the Birthing Center. Over time, she advanced to a charge nurse role and now serves as the Clinical Nurse Coordinator.
In her current position, Park is responsible for both nursing care and administrative management at the Birthing Center. Her expertise includes fetal monitoring, nursery care, postpartum care, and labor support.
Park's recognition stems from her adherence to what GVMH refers to as the Golden Standard of Care. She is known for supporting her coworkers and effectively training new employees. Her efforts help newcomers feel comfortable and prepared in their roles at the Birthing Center. Colleagues and patients have described Park as “the calm in the chaos” during childbirth.
As part of this recognition, Park received a special gift from GVMH, and her name will be added to a commemorative plaque at the main campus. Additionally, she is now one of 12 finalists for GVMH’s 2025-2026 Employee of the Year award.
