Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) has announced the appointment of Rachelle Babin as Executive Director of Quality and Accreditation. In her new role, Babin will manage quality improvement initiatives, focusing on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and maintaining high standards of care delivery. Her responsibilities also include leading infection control efforts, maintaining department records, and promoting continuous improvement within the organization.

Babin has an extensive background in healthcare, with experience in clinical quality, patient safety, accreditation, and performance improvement. She is noted for leading significant change initiatives, fostering stakeholder alignment, and employing Lean Six Sigma methodologies for data-driven decision-making. Her work in regulatory compliance, high reliability, and change management has significantly advanced healthcare systems.

Babin holds a Master of Business Administration from Baker University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Creighton University. She is also a Certified Executive Coach and Certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, accredited by the University of Texas at Dallas.
