June 6: Weekly Staff Meeting: Present: EMA Director Trisha Rooda, Joint Communications Director Dannye Lauder, GIS Director James Theisen, I.T. Director Luke Goosen, Assistant to the Commission Kristen Anderson, Payroll and Benefits Specialist Marie Kringle, and Facilities and Grounds Coordinator Bret Manuel.
- Jail Census: 119 inmates
- 911 Call Census: 2316 calls
- Bid Opening for “Shelter Locks”: No Bids Received
- Commission approved Order 02-2022#1844 as it pertains to the movement and locations of Pettis County Offices.
June 7: Citizen Kevin Lujin visited with the Commission
- Commission attended the Ribbon Cutting for United Way
June 8: Commission went into Closed Session from 9:00 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Pursuant to Rsmo 610.021(3) for personnel discussions with I.T. Bret Denomme.
June 9: Field Representative to Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler Ryan Bardot to visit with the Commission.
- Commission attended the Ribbon cutting for the Olen Howard Building at State Fair Community College.
- 2 p.m. – Commission met with Chief Juvenile Officer Kindra Harms, Sheriff Brad Anders, Auditor Beverly Dillon and Prosecuting Attorney Phillip Sawyer to discuss certified youth and updates with “Raise the Age” Legislation.
June 10: Commission tabled action for a contract with Anderson Engineering on South Grand Road pending further information and discussion.
- Commission awarded Capital Paving & Construction LLC the low bid and contract for Phase 1 of the Pettis County Rail-Served Industrial Park Preferred Truck Route as it pertains to Cedar Drive.
- Commission attended the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Sedalia Democrat Location.
